![]() ![]() The Marie Menken’s movie and impressionist portrait of the working artist, Andy Warhol (1965), will be a precious reference point for our thoughts. This starting point will allow to connect with the visual design by taking some motives or « pattern » as significative example of his art. From the David Hockney’s thought who suggest that « drawing teach to look and the more you draw, better you see », we’ll see how the line’s outline works for the artist, images which go beyond the publicist model’s in effect. Warhol’s artistic leanings in the pop gesture’s frame will be displayed from his artistic learning process when he was a publicist designer. Whether in serigraphy or film portrait, there’s always this background surface problematic which connect the different mediums in their very own constitution. With contributions from such leading scholars as John Caldwell, Vicki Mayer, Herman Gray, and Tejaswini Ganti, Precarious Creativity offers timely critiques of media globalization while also intervening in broader debates about labor, creativity, and precarity.īeyond the well-known idiom of Warhol’s original and copy, I would like to articulate my presentation around the necessity to produce the mass’ image in artistic point of view. The collection also examines labor conditions across a range of job categories that includes, for example, visual effects, production services, and adult entertainment. Furthermore, it examines working conditions and organizing efforts on all six continents, offering broad-ranging and comprehensive analysis of contemporary screen media labor in such places as Lagos, Prague, Hollywood, and Hyderabad. ![]() The authors take on pressing conceptual and methodological issues while also providing insightful case studies of workplace dynamics regarding creativity, collaboration, exploitation, and cultural difference. ![]() This pathbreaking anthology peeks behind the hype and supposed glamor of screen media industries to reveal the intensifying pressures and challenges confronting actors, editors, electricians, and others. Precarious Creativity examines the seismic changes confronting media workers in an age of globalization and corporate conglomeration. ![]()
